Today is the first day back after our 2 week break! Me? I’m one of those people who look forward to getting back into the daily grind of my day-to-day routine. Today, my district hosted professional development trainings, so I attended (of course) the SLP one. I sat at a table with my friends, which gave us time to “catch up”. My friends were talking about how tough it was to get up this morning, but meanwhile I shared stories of how I woke up, printed out therapy notes, packed healthy snacks (it’s a New Year, gotta start it off right), and even managed to paint my nails! My friends think I’m crazy!!
How do you align your IEP present levels of academic achievement and functional performance?
What tools do you use to do this?
When writing IEPs, who do you collaborate with?
On average, how many communication goals do you write for each student?
These are the questions I’m curious about at the end of today. Share with me your thoughts!
