As I reflect on the past year, I can’t help but begin to make plans for the upcoming year. Every New Year’s Eve I find myself contemplating the successes and the failures of the past year both personally and professionally. Professionally, this has been a year of immense growth and success. Having been accepted into ASHA’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) for early career professionals last May, set several plans into motion. I was able to present at the state association (FLASHA) for the very first time, network with some AMAZING professionals, attend the ASHA School’s conference for the first time, and develop a training program for SLPs in my school district. All the while, I worked on taking the steps to complete my dissertation. While that is still a work in progress, I can’t help but be completely thrilled with all that has happened!
With such a successful year almost in the past, can 2014 live up to 2013?
I have big plans for 2014…
Wishing a very happy NEW YEAR to all of my fellow SLPs out there!
